West Wittering Café | Sussex

The aims of the project were two-fold.

To create a sustainable building that would blend into the surrounding context and have minimum impact on the natural environment. A building that was of the landscape, not on the landscape.

To create a ‘winter’ café that would serve the needs of the public for the majority of the year but would also be capable of handling the thousands of people who descend on the beach in fine weather
